Re-launched in 2010 with subsidised low cost radio hire provided by the BID, this group of town centre retailers goes from strength to strength. Meeting regularly to share intelligence, get advice, discuss current issues and get support from each other and from local agencies has enabled these businesses to make a real difference to crime reduction and ASB in the town.  By utilising the radios and by having an excellent working relationship with the local community beat team and CCTV control, retailers are ensuring that not only is shop theft reduced but staff and customers are secure in the knowledge that everyone is working together for a safer Sleaford.

Licensed premises in the town attend regular meetings to share intelligence and discuss any current issues with both the day time and night time economy in Sleaford. Banning orders are placed on persistent offenders and the group support the bans in the town. The radio link handsets are well used and increased radio traffic since the re-launch has lead to a decrease in incidents and an increase in reporting and prosecution.
